  8. "How do you feel?" Actress Wettig is fine; it's the character
  9. she plays on ABC's thirtysomething who isn't. Millions of fans
  10. feel like close friends of the program's yuppies, who've been
  11. criticized for their incessant whining. Now the show's taking
  12. a solemn turn: Nancy has learned she has ovarian cancer. "Why
  13. my character was chosen for this, I don't know," says Wettig.
  14. "She had already gone through a lot." What will happen next?
